Fort Erie will have 16 polling stations for Thursday’s provincial election

There are 16 locations across Greater Fort Erie where residents can cast a vote in Thursday’s provincial election.

While most residents have received a voter information card in the mail with the polling station nearest to their home, there are options for those who did not.

The locations to vote are as follows:

  • Beachcombers Senior Citizens Association (237 Ridge Rd. N, Ridgeway)
  • Crystal Ridge Community Centre (99 Ridge Rd. S, Crystal Beach)
  • Faith Reformed Church (3605 Black Creek Rd., Stevensville)
  • Fort Erie Public Library Centennial Branch (136 Gilmore Rd., Fort Erie)
  • Stevensville Memorial Hall (2508 Stevensville Rd., Stevensville)
  • Optimist Club of Fort Erie (1555 Gilmore Rd., Fort Erie)
  • First Baptist Church (165 Bertie St., Fort Erie)
  • St. Paul’s Parish Hall (32 Idylewylde St., Fort Erie)
  • All Nations Mission Centre (3397 Garrison Rd., Ridgeway)
  • Fort Erie Leisureplex Banquet Hall (3 Municipal Centre Dr., Fort Erie)
  • Royal Canadian Legion Branch 71 (130 Garrison Rd., Fort Erie)
  • Albany Place Apartments (1 Albany St., Fort Erie)
  • Gilmore Lodge (60 King St., Fort Erie)
  • Garrison Place Retirement Residence (373 Garrison Rd., Fort Erie)
  • Crescent Park Lodge (4 Hagey Ave., Fort Erie)
  • Maple Park Lodge (6 Hagey Ave., Fort Erie)

Polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

You can still vote if you do not receive a card, but your name may not be on the register, says Election Ontario’s website.

You must bring one piece of identification showing both your name and home address to register and receive a ballot. Photo ID is not required.

To be eligible to vote, you must be 18 years of age or older, a Canadian citizen and a resident of Ontario.
