Temporary restrictions on Friendship Trail at Waverly Beach

ORIGINAL STORY | The Town of Fort Erie has announced temporary closures of sections of the Friendship Trail at Waverly Beach on September 23 and 24 to conduct necessary forestry work, with the affected sections of the trail closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.

The forestry work will be carried out under the supervision of an arborist, aiming to balance public safety with minimal disruption to the surrounding natural environment.
Signs will be posted to indicate the closures, and park users are advised to avoid the work area and maintain a safe distance during the operation.
