SUPERVISOR OF ROADS AND STORMWATER SERVICES
The successful candidate will be responsible for road maintenance and storm sewer infrastructure.
This role involves leading a team, ensuring safety, optimizing operations, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Candidates should have a post-secondary construction or engineering background, be working towards CET (Certified Engineering Technologist) and CRS (Certified Road Supervisor) designations, and have at least three years of supervisory experience.
The position offers a salary of $95,872 – $115,047, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative work environment.

SUPERVISOR OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
The successful candidate will oversee municipal infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities include preparing design criteria, cost estimates, field inspections, and project management.
Applicants need civil engineering credentials, a CET designation, and a valid driver’s licence.
Skills in municipal engineering principles, contract administration, project management, and strong communication are essential.
The position offers an annual salary of $83,572 – $100,286, with comprehensive benefits.

RELIEF RECREATION EMPLOYEES
For the relief recreation employee position, the Town of Fort Erie is seeking candidates to support the maintenance and operation of facilities, arenas, and parks on an as-needed basis.
The role involves operating equipment, performing physical labour, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.
Candidates should have an OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) or equivalent, a valid driver’s licence, and general knowledge of groundskeeping, ice maintenance, and custodial methods.
The starting hourly rate is $27.90 plus four per cent vacation pay. Hours vary and may include weekends and holidays.

VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS
Finally, the Town is seeking energetic and dedicated individuals committed to serving the community.
Selected applicants will complete a six-month program followed by a twelve-month probationary period.
Volunteers must dedicate a specific number of hours monthly to training, fire station duties, and meetings.
Volunteers must also be available 24/7 to respond to various emergencies and will benefit from the camaraderie of the firefighter association.
Candidates must have an OSSD or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and live full-time in Fort Erie.
Essential qualities include self-confidence, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to learn new skills. A valid driver’s class G licence is required with a willingness to upgrade to DZ.
Candidates must also pass a police background check, as well as medical and physical evaluations.
