Suspect arrested in connection to Fort Erie thefts

An investigation conducted by 5 District uniform officers and detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service has resulted in the arrest of a suspect linked to a series of thefts from vehicles in Fort Erie.

The suspect, a 19-year-old male of no fixed address, was apprehended following the investigation. He faces charges including:

• Attempt indictable offence (two counts)
• Theft under $5,000
• Breach of probation

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing yesterday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
