Goodwill Niagara hiring for new Fort Erie store on Garrison Road

Goodwill Niagara is hiring staff for a new store coming to Garrison Road in Fort Erie, with positions ranging from cashiers and sorters to assistant managers, though no opening date has yet been released.
Goodwill posted multiple full-time and permanent roles through Job Gym’s Fort Erie job board this week, marking the first public update on the location since Goodwill identified Fort Erie as a target market in 2023.
The store will sit in Park Plaza near the corner of Garrison and Pettit Road.

Roles include cashiers, store associates, textile and hardgoods sorters, donor door attendants, hangers and hardgoods pricers.
Leadership positions include assistant manager and lead sales associates, with supervisory experience preferred for those roles.

The posting lists hours between 24 and 37.5 per week and describes the work as physically demanding, with frequent lifting, standing for extended periods and work performed both indoors and outdoors.
Goodwill Niagara told Fort Erie Radio that applications have already come in and the organization expects to work through hiring in the near term.
A separate update on a grand opening is expected once a date is set.
